I have done everything, tightened them, loosened them, push them on hard to my face, to get suction, put them on gently. I have checked my cap is on the outside too- no luck. "These are perfect for open water swimming. They allow you to site perfectly, they stay on your face and don't hurt your eye sockets when you're wearing them for an extended period of time. They do tend to leak if you don't get them on your face perfectly but it's easy to adjust and keep swimming."
