Los pantalones cortos "The Originals" están confeccionados con el mejor neopreno Yamamoto Smoothskin y están cosidos y unidos de la misma manera que un traje de triatlón. Están diseñados con neopreno de 3 mm en el centro para mayor flotabilidad y neopreno de 5 mm en los laterales para favorecer la rotación de la cadera en cada brazada.

"I'm 57 years old. At 6'2" and 265 lbs I was worried that these 2x shorts wouldn't fit but I took a chance and they fit wonderfully. I would say that I'm the top end of what they fit, though. Wish I'd discovered these sooner!

"My first pair of buoyancy shorts and I’m delighted with them! Have been amazed by how much they have improved my swimming. By providing additional buoyancy, I am able to concentrate on improving my stroke rather than struggle to stay afloat. On one occasion, I did peg them, by the waistband, onto my washing line to dry out and was a bit surprised / disappointed that the material retained the peg marks and didn’t spring back. Won’t be doing that again."

"Last night, I used my new Zone 3 Original 5/3 MM buoyancy shorts for my Boy Scout swim test. I'm 71 years old and have had 2 knee replacements + a hip replacement. In other words, I have enough tungsten steel in me to build a battleship! I was on the varsity swimming team in high school and college. So, I'm a very strong swimmer. However, all the extra ballast caused me to assume a feet down trim in the water and floating on my back was very difficult. The swimming test involves swimming 75 yds without stopping, another 25 yards using elementary backstroke, and float on your back for 30 seconds. The buoyancy shorts enabled me to assume a horizontal trim in the water and the neoprene material also kept the hip joint and associated muscles warm, thus helping to prevent muscle cramping. It was easy to relax and just swim without wearing myself out. Your product made the difference between passing and not passing the test. Having passed the test qualifies me to go on paddling trips with my troop. Thank you for making a product that enables an old man to stay in the game and keep doing outdoor stuff with my Scout troop!"
